Saba is a delicious cooked and caramelized reduction of unaged grape must made from hand-picked, sun-ripened Lambrusco and Trebbiano grapes from Modena, Italy.
It is a sweet, thick ancient condiment (since the time of the Romans) very much like molasses except without any bitter notes. Saba boasts a lovely complex flavor redolent with notes of Honey, Fig & sundried Raisins.
