John and Jim Pedroncelli first planted Cabernet Sauvignon in 1965 making their mark in Dry Creek Valley. This was at the beginning of their six decade business partnership which included many other milestones along the way. This wine features layers of striking flavors and is made in the Bordeaux style using each variety to build character. The brothers have left an indelible mark on our family, our valley and the wine community.
Notes of ripe raspberries and black currants with hints of sweet spices, hibiscus and bark. Very soft tannins. Medium to full bodied wine. Polished and creamy with dark berry and toasted walnut undertones. Velvety finish. Bordeaux blend of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc, & 4% Petit Verdot. 10 months in French oak, 30% new oak.
